So Hunter won the cutest kid contest. There were 3 winners. A boy a Girl and an overall winner chosen by the photographer. The little boy and girl winners were chosen based on who had the most votes from their friends and family. Hunter won the cutest overall that was chosen by the photographer! Yay Hunter! he gets a Gap kids Gift Card, a free photo session and a storyboard from the session! I'm such a proud mommy!

This year for Halloween hunter was the scariest 3 Eyed Green Monster I have ever seen. HaHa! Yeah right. He was a 3 Eyed Green Monster though. He was so funny. Whenever he saw his costume he would get really excited and do whatever he could to help me get him dressed. We went Trick-or-Treating in the neighborhood that our ward covers. . . well the 2 streets that are in the ward. This is Utah. :) We didn't go to too many houses but for his first real Trick-or-Treat outing I think it was good. We would push him and Nash in the stroller to each house and then take turns walking with Hunter to the door. He would get so excited when people would open the door that he would take the candy and then try to go inside. He was too cute! One of the cul-de-sacs in the ward had a little fire, hot cocoa, and hot cider. It was fun and nice to see people from that ward out and about. Nash was the cutest little pumpkin that I think I have ever seen and I'm not just saying that cause I'm his mom. . . although that does help. :) Overall we had a lot of fun. It was a great Halloween!

I'm probably not the only one but I am not a fan of sitting down and going over the budget. What bills there are, what we actually spend, etc. etc. etc. The most recent budget talk, Andrew asked me to make a spreadsheet. I'm not the greatest at Excel anymore because I haven't used it in a while. I was feeling a little inadequate for the job. I started and couldn't get the stupid thing to format the way I wanted it, so I Googled "budget worksheet." Much to my surprise there are a bigillion online worksheets that already have all of the formulas and everything made. All I had to do was click on "use this worksheet" and I can input what our income is compared to what we spend for each bill and expense. It has projected and actuals. Then it makes a total of our gain or loss for the month. I love it already and I literally just closed it after using it for the first time. Now when I go to the grocery store I can come home and enter in what I actually spent and it will tell me how much I have left for the month. It's great. I can now feel up to the task and actually have a successful budget plan. :)

So I found a girl online named Cami that is a photographer here in the SL Valley. I looked at her blog and was very impressed. It was an interesting situation. Hunter was so cute and happy when she was taking pictures of just him. As soon as the rest of us got in the pictures he was uninterested. Ha! Oh well. I think they turned out great! Here are a few of the pics that we have gotten so far.

I took the boys out for our first grocery shopping adventure. I was worried that Hunter would throw everything out of the cart as I put it in, but we needed food so I decided to risk it. The first thing I put in the cart was deodorant. . .yes we use it. :) Much to my surprise he just played with them almost the entire time. Nothing was thrown out and he actually handed me everything once it was time to place it on the belt! He would hold it on or over his head until I took it from him to put on the check out belt. It was so cute! We've had a few more shopping trips since the first and he has been just as good. . . at home on the other hand, he is quite the mess maker.
Yesterday while I was working on the computer he emptied the shred bin. . . while I was sitting right here. I was so focused that I didn't even notice until it was too late. My bad. So instead of getting mad, I just had him help me clean it all up.
I have also fallen back in love with BabiesRUs. I can't help it. Since we got here I have gotten a new double stroller (don't know how I lived without it for the couple weeks that I did) and matching bed sets for the boys. I'll post pictures of those once we get the 2nd crib set up. Andrew is getting it from my parents house this weekend. In the meantime Nash has been chillin on the couch. He doesn't seem to mind.
I made some shadow boxes for my bathroom. I got the idea from a magazine and decided I needed to do it. I think they turned out pretty well and love them in my bathroom.

On August 8, 2009 our second little boy decided to join us. He was 3 weeks and 5 days early! Talk about a surprise! This kid is just full of them. HaHa! Anyway. . . he weighed in at a whopping 5 lbs 11 oz and was 18 inches long. This delivery was definitely easier than Hunter's. As some or all of you may know Andrew started his new job in Utah on the 3rd. Hunter and I stayed in Idaho with my parents until I had Nash so that I could get my much earned maternity leave from work. We were originally anticipating a month long separation but it ended rather quickly. Apparently Nash didn't want us to spend that much time apart. Anyway. . . Andrew had decided to come up for the weekend and just visit with us while he still had a free Saturday. He left Utah after work and got to us at about 10:30. We stayed up and visited for a while and turned in. At 12:30 ish I went upstairs to walk around and low and behold. . . I'm having contractions. :) So I went in and woke my mom up to tell her. She asked how many I had had. I said well 4 just in the time I've been standing here talking to you. Oh my! She told me to get Andrew up but I didn't want to wake him. So I waited til about 2 and decided he needed to be up so we could go to the hospital. On our way there he called his mom and told her where we were going but that he didn't think it was the real thing because with Hunter I was crying my contractions hurt so bad. Half hour later we got to the hospital in Rexburg. Sure enough I was at a 4. After a short walk around to be sure I was sent to delivery and got my epidural. Just my luck there were 2 other girls that decided to have their babies that night too. Our Dr. delivered all 3 babies within about 45 minutes! Amazing! He was born at 6:17. Perfect timing Nash. Daddy was there!
